Amaranta Family Practice is a GP surgery located in Blackrock, Co. Dublin. The practice provides high quality, comprehensive and affordable medical services in a relaxed friendly atmosphere. This specialist General Practice aims to support the health of it’s patients, male and female, from birth to old age with kindness, dignity and consideration.

This is a mixed practice seeing Medical Card, GP Visit Card and Private Patients. As a single handed practice, patients are guaranteed to see Dr. Ciara on each visit. Appointments can be made by phoning the surgery directly on 012785866 or by clicking on the “Book Appointment’ tab above.

Occupational vaccinations eg hepatitis A & B and tetanus.

Flu vaccinations – particularly recommended for patients with diabetes and heart, lung and kidney disease.

Blood Tests

We take blood samples five mornings a week and send them by courier to the laboratory. This will save you a trip to the local hospital.

Cryosurgery

The technique of freezing warts, verrucae and a number of skin lesions.

Minor Surgery

For example: incision and drainage of abscesses, stitching wounds, etc.

Driving Fitness Tests

These include eye tests.

Asthma Care

Regular check-ups will improve the management of asthma.

Health Screening *

This includes a physical examination and full blood screen (including cholesterol, blood sugar, liver function and other tests as necessary). Advice is available on diet, weight control, exercise, alcohol and smoking.
